May 13, 2020 State of Maryland Updates

Effective Monday, April 6, 2020, yard waste and limb pick up on Fridays, and paid bulk pick up, will be suspended until the termination of the State's Emergency Declaration. Also, the free bulk pick up scheduled for May is cancelled.

The Fruitland Planning Commission's Monthly Meeting Scheduled for Tuesday, April 7th, has been canceled. 

Per State of Maryland Mandate, gatherings of more than 10 people are PROHIBITED. Please observe "Social Distancing", avoid being closer than 6 feet to others

City Recreational Park Facilities: The Park and Walking Trail is open, however, the ballfields and playground equipment areas are closed until further notice.

The Fruitland Little League Opening Day Festivities have been canceled.

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020: Due to COVID-19 precautionary measures, the Finance Department will not be accepting in person payments at City Hall. Please use the online payment system located at or U.S. Mail or the drop box  at the entrance of City Hall parking lot. Additionally public  access to all City of Fruitland Public Works buildings will be prohibited until further notice.

Effective  Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice:  Trash pick up will still be on the  regular scheduled day, however, due to current events, the time of the pick up may vary.
